When do you decide to start this problem? After I summited Support Everest and Lhotse recently, I decided to take on this obstacle. On the way down from Get away 4 to Camp two, I have decided that I want another goal to set this goals and I want to difficult task K2 in the summer. When I come home in Norway I thought a growing number of about it and liked thinking about doing all the 8000m interests in one season.
How long did it take that you prepare for Bremont 14 Attracts? When it was designed out a year ago, I merely had this year to prepare as well as organize, but the preparation got a lot longer than it took to practice and climb mountains in numerous years. I quit my very own job in 2019 and also I've been traveling and ascending ever since. An important part of this software is mental and actual preparation, so it is important to expend many long days about the mountain in a row to acquire used to the environment. On Everest this year, we went through Base Camp to Camp out 2, the next day was Camping 3, then Camp some, then the next day we left for Mount Everest, Lhotse, then back to Base Camp, ?t had been 28 hours, So you must ensure you're ready for these extended stretches.

What is your favorite mountain for you to climb so far? Really hard to choose because they are and so different and offer completely different experience, but if I had to choose one particular, it would have to be Annapurna, which the most dangerous of the initial stages. I think Danger makes this the most challenging along with why I like it by far the most. This was the first mountain many of us did, so we were there for years, which meant we recognized the mountain very well. This can be a very beautiful mountain!
How important is the staff around you? Teams are really important. Personally, an 8000m peak is impossible, plus it was imperative for me to obtain Sherpas to complete the challenge while keeping morale. I have two quite strong Sherpas and I know all of them both very well. Someone performed climb Everest and Lhotse with me last year, so gowns how I got to know him or her and it was important that we included him on the venture as well. They're all strong and I don't see any risk with them trying to complete this kind of challenge with me.
What does stage 2 regarding Bremont 14 Peaks entail? From Islamabad we now have a two day travel followed by a 2 to 3 moment trek before reaching Nanga Parbat Base Camp, and we will hike to K2 for 6 or a week and then try to reach the smt of K2. After K2, we had Broad Peak very well base camp. After that we certainly have 1-2 days to wander to G1 and G2 to start the climb right now there. All in all, if all moves well, I hope to complete the next phase in early August. This can be the plan.
Just how important is the timing of this concern?
Time is important, and to do this job immediately and keep a record, I need to undertake it in less than 6 months and some days, so our ambitions are clearly linked to time period. In general, our mindset might be as fast as possible, and when we're getting to the top, when jooxie is climbing in dangerous circumstances, we're going to want to get through these as quickly as possible.
When the going gets challenging, what keeps you planning? Goals are the motivation, especially when things obtain tough and dangerous. Placing my goal to reach the peak makes things easier in each mountain because the goal carries a definite end point. Naturally , you also have to get down safely and securely. In order to climb at this levels you have to accept the fact that you will definitely be uncomfortable for a long time, it is not like running a telephone long distance race or similar staying power activities where you have to be expecting a long race and be happy to let yourself through the worst type of of times. You have to love it way too, if you don't love it it's extremely hard.
How do you compare level 1 and stage a couple of? A big difference is that I realize Nepal very well because I possess climbed here many times. Nonetheless Pakistan is even more unusual to me as I have never already been through it before. This makes it exciting, and also more challenging. I'm starting to acquire really excited now and initiate climbing... watch out for this place!
